Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking a friendly Front Desk/Medical Receptionist to coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, collect payments, and manage patient charts. The role requires excellent customer service, HIPAA knowledge, and the ability to work across three Annapolis-area locations.

The position starts early with a rotation among Annapolis, Glen Burnie, and Prince Frederick, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• 1–3 years of medical receptionist experience (preferred).
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check them in/out.
• Enter new patient information and verify chart accuracy and signatures.
• Collect payments as necessary and assist with billing/insurance information.
• Screen calls, schedule appointments and referrals; take messages.
• Update patient demographics when making appointments and balance end-of-day reports.
• Assist other staff as needed and travel to three locations as required.
