Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks a Customer Service Specialist to support wholesale and retail customers in our VT stores. You will determine needs, recommend products, and ensure satisfaction while upholding brand standards.

Roles include processing transactions, stocking, tinting/mixing, and assisting deliveries. Candidates should be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and able to lift up to 70 lbs. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: at least a "meets expectations" rating.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
