Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to support our Montpelier, VT stores. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, and recommend the right paint-related solutions. You will ensure high customer satisfaction and help achieve monthly and yearly sales goals.

You will handle transactions, stock shelves, tint and mix products, and assist in deliveries as needed. This role requires a valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a 'meets expectations' rating.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately according to policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix per specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable areas; stay knowledgeable on products.
