Job summary

Newburyport Bank seeks a Market Manager to lead branch operations and customer service across the Storey Ave and State Street branches in Newburyport, plus the Newbury branch. You will motivate staff, ensure service excellence, and uphold policies and security.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, coaching employees, driving sales and community engagement, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and banking knowledge required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in customer service/supervisory roles in banking.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations and customer service.
• Great communication and leadership; able to manage deadlines and travel as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations across Storey Ave and State Street branches in Newburyport and the branch in Newbury.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff; manage performance, scheduling and training.
• Promote products/services and drive sales; cross-sell with internal lines.
• Represent the Bank in community events and networking activities.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
