Job summary

Personna Employment Solutions seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee multiple tire and automotive service locations in the Yakima Valley. This senior leader drives sales growth, profitability, and service quality while coaching managers and ensuring consistent standards across sites.

You will lead performance reviews, budgeting, and operational discipline, balancing customer satisfaction with productivity and growth across locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in automotive service, tire sales, retail automotive operations, or a closely related industry.
• 3+ years of experience overseeing multiple locations, departments, or management teams
• Strong understanding of tire sales, automotive repair, service writing, shop workflow, and customer service
• Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, labor costs, margins, inventory, and profitability
• Proven ability to coach managers, improve performance, and lead teams through change
• Strong communication, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced service environment
• Comfort using POS systems, automotive management software, spreadsheets, and performance reporting tools
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between locations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business, automotive, or management education preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational direction across multiple tire and automotive service locations
• Coach, develop, and hold store managers accountable for performance, staffing, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Conduct regular store visits and ensure operational standards are followed consistently
• Establish clear expectations and develop action plans for underperforming locations
• Build a professional, accountable, and customer-focused culture across the organization
• Drive revenue growth across tire sales, automotive repair, preventive maintenance, and related services
• Review store-level P&Ls, labor costs, margins, expenses, and productivity
• Improve sales, gross profit, average repair order, customer retention, and overall profitability
• Monitor pricing, discounts, purchasing practices, inventory levels, and operating expenses
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for senior leadership
• Identify market opportunities and recommend practical strategies for continued growth
