Job summary

The Tire Shop Point S - Mount Vernon is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service advisors, guide tire sales, parts and repairs, and drive customer satisfaction. You will develop sales strategies, manage the service team, and collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The role blends technical understanding with people leadership, requiring strong communication, planning and a focus on quality service and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Technical or vocational automotive training a plus.
• TIA certification with company support.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 3+ years in a service management role in automotive.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair basics.
• Proficient with POS, scheduling software, and Office tools.
• Ability to upsell based on vehicle condition and needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead service advisors and supervise daily operations.
• Train new advisors on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate workflow in the service area.
• Assign tasks to technicians to meet timelines.
• Perform quality control inspections to uphold standards.
• Resolve customer issues and inquiries effectively.
• Provide expert recommendations on services.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by staff.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and promote safety.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot complex problems and improve processes.
