Qualifications

• Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
• Virginia Life & Health Insurance license is required.
• At least two years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems while talking to clients.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets or production goals.
• Clear, empathetic, and professional communication style.
• Familiarity with the Williamsburg area and its insurance needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities by connecting with local residents and business owners in the Williamsburg community.
• Analyze the specific risks faced by each client to provide comprehensive insurance coverage recommendations.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals that align with the long-term goals of your clients.
• Nurture existing client relationships through regular check-ins and proactive policy reviews.
• Collaborate with our internal support staff to ensure smooth processing and client satisfaction.
• Participate in local community events to increase agency visibility and build meaningful networks.
