Job summary

The Atlantic District in Stamford, CT seeks a motivated Multi-Line Insurance Agent to advise clients on comprehensive home, business, and life coverage. You will be the face of the agency, working with local businesses and families to secure their futures and build lasting relationships.

With a supportive team and opportunities for professional growth, you will analyze client needs, guide claims with empathy, and renew policies while expanding the agency's Stamford network and community presence.

Qualifications

• CT Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses required in CT.
• Minimum of three years managing a diverse insurance book.
• Experience with agency management systems and digital rating tools.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and coverage gaps.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for local business owners and families.
• CIC or CPCU certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client profiles to tailor coverage solutions.
• Guide clients through claims process with empathy and clear communication.
• Proactively reach out to existing policyholders to update coverage as life changes.
• Identify local networking opportunities to represent The Atlantic District in Stamford.
• Manage policy renewals and document client interactions.

Responsibilities

Proactively reach out to existing policyholders to ensure their coverage evolves alongside their life changes.

Identify local networking opportunities to represent The Atlantic District within the Stamford community.

Manage policy renewals and document all client interactions accurately in our database.

Collaborate with the broader agency staff to streamline workflows and improve the client experience.

Requirements

Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses for the state of Connecticut.

At least three years of experience managing a diverse book of insurance business.

Strong command of agency management systems and digital rating tools.

Advanced understanding of risk assessment and coverage gaps.

Excellent interpersonal skills for building trust with local business owners and families.

Professional certification such as CIC or CPCU is a plus.
