Job summary

Shook-careers is seeking a Docketing Specialist to provide multi-jurisdictional litigation calendaring and docketing services to litigation teams. You will work with BEC Docket Enterprise or similar software and ensure deadlines are accurately entered following policy and procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of docketing experience, strong knowledge of court rules and procedures, and excellent data management and communication skills to support attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with two years of docketing experience.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules and procedures.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with docketing software (BEC or similar).

Responsibilities

• Review documents for relevant dates and enter deadlines into docketing system.
• Create, review and distribute calendars and reports.
• Respond to requests from litigation team about docketed events.
• Research docketing issues and resolve anomalies.
• Maintain documentation for docketing processes.
• Provide back-up support to other specialists.
• Stay current with industry best practices and tools.
• Assist with ad hoc projects.
