Job summary

Shook, Hardy & Bacon seeks a Docketing Specialist to support multi-jurisdictional litigation calendaring and docketing using BEC Docket Enterprise. You will review documents, enter deadlines, and generate reports for litigation teams.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and at least two years of docketing experience, with strong knowledge of court rules and procedures and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent and 2+ years of docketing experience or training.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and procedures.
• Ability to complete tasks timely with high quality and attention to detail.
• Effective collaboration with attorneys, clients, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Review documents for relevant dates and enter deadlines into docketing system.
• Create, review and distribute calendar and case reports.
• Respond to requests from litigation teams regarding docketed events and rules.
• Identify docketing anomalies and research resolutions.
• Maintain documentation for docketing processes and practices.
