Job summary

J&P Asset Management is seeking a Market Manager to serve as General Manager of the home property while providing operational leadership to 2–3 additional hotels within the market. The role focuses on consistent operational performance, guest satisfaction, and regulatory compliance, with a clear path toward future Area Manager responsibilities.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, and coaching GMs to drive revenue, optimize labor, and maintain brand standards across properties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-property hotel operations.
• Strong budgeting, labor, and guest-satisfaction metrics.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop General Managers or property leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned properties including staffing, guest experience, cleanliness, maintenance, and financial performance.
• Manage hotels according to business plans and budgets with focus on room sales and labor control.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and safety regulations.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train team members with coaching and performance reviews.
• Conduct site visits and provide feedback on operations, cleanliness, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
• Partner with General Managers to monitor financials and development goals.
