Job summary

5 West Group in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a prudent Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned multifamily properties, aiming to maximize occupancy and asset value. You will coordinate leasing, maintenance, and rent collection while ensuring regulatory compliance and high tenant satisfaction.

You will supervise onsite staff and vendors, work with ownership and regional management to meet performance goals, and travel between sites if required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Property Manager in multi-family housing is required.
• Strong understanding of property management best practices and financials.
• Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and travel between sites if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations of multi-family properties ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company regulations.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
• Respond to leasing leads in real time via phone and email.
• Support marketing, leasing, maintenance, and rent collection efforts.
• Supervise onsite staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
• Help manage budgets, control expenses, and support revenue growth.
• Work closely with ownership and regional management to meet performance goals.
