Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff across multifamily communities. You will ensure high standards of curb appeal, move‑in quality, and timely service while partnering with the Community Manager to oversee vendors and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource use to deliver an exceptional resident experience and maintain property value.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is expected.
• HVAC certifications (CPO) are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service by treating residents and staff with respect and handling maintenance requests with urgency.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to work orders for residents and management.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff and monitor progress daily.
• Manage bids, inventory, and vendor relationships and enforce community policies.
