Job summary

Avanath Communities is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and vendor teams, ensuring high-quality service, timely repairs, and excellent curb appeal at our multifamily properties. The role partners with the Community Manager to maintain safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

The incumbent will oversee work orders, plan preventive maintenance, and uphold OSHA standards while delivering an unforgettable living experience for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• + Resident relations and customer service: respond to resident inquiries and service requests, ensuring timely and courteous service.
• + Maintenance management: coordinate and schedule work orders, inspect conditions, and manage supplies within budget.
• + Enforce community policies and ensure safety compliance.
• + Lead maintenance staff and vendors, monitor progress, and provide feedback to the Community Manager.
• + Maintain records of service requests, inspections, and safety standards.
