Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of healthcare billing and collections experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and resident billing across multiple facilities.
• Ensure timely submission of claims and follow-up on denials or unpaid balances.
• Coordinate financial aspects of resident admissions and set up payment arrangements.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements; monitor internal controls.
• Lead office staff and optimize workflows to support facility operations.
