The ABOM supports the Revenue Cycle Manager with insurance verifications, claims and resident financial conversations.

The role requires at least 1 year of healthcare billing experience, strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare billing and collections experience.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billing processes.
• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and billing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and resident billing.

• Prepare and submit claims promptly and monitor unpaid balances.
• Provide financial counseling to residents and families.
• Maintain accurate resident trust accounts and documentation.
