Job summary

Cinder is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join the accounting team and support multiple affiliated entities. The role demands careful GAAP compliance, monthly close leadership, and strong collaboration with controllers, treasury, and stakeholders.

You will manage bank reconciliations, intercompany activities, and journal entries, while helping prepare financial statements and assist audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in a for-profit corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with treasury management, cash reconciliations, and for-profit accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Construction or manufacturing high-volume industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting activities for assigned affiliated companies.
• Support accounting functions across 5–7 affiliated entities as team grows.
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
• Support treasury and daily cash reporting and funding accounts.
• Prepare recurring journal entries and cost transfers.
• Assist with audits and contract compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with departments and affiliate stakeholders to resolve questions.
