Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Corporate Accounting Accountant to perform day-to-day accounting for its corporate entities. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, support the monthly close, and contribute to the timely preparation of corporate financial statements.

The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, with a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset to handle multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; corporate accounting or public accounting preferred; commercial real estate experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and basic corporate accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting ERP systems; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and accrual schedules for corporate cost centers and balance sheet accounts.
• Perform month-end close activities including prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Process and code AP invoices for corporate entities, coordinate approvals, and assist with payment runs.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for monthly financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of variance analysis and corporate financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, and other departments to obtain documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audit preparation and year-end close activities.
• Assist with tax compliance schedules as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
