Job summary

1LUX is seeking a hands-on Controller to own financial operations across four subsidiaries and lead a Senior Accountant plus part-time AP support. You will work with ownership on reporting, consolidations, and process improvements to scale our growing, multi-brand organization.

This role emphasizes multi-entity accounting, ERP optimization in NetSuite, and ongoing process improvements with an eye toward AI-enabled efficiency.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience including 3–5 years in Controller roles.
• Experience managing multi-entity accounting across subsidiaries.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close across four subsidiaries.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for holding company and subsidiaries.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with leadership and partners.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting for the group.
• Lead and mentor Senior Accountant and AP specialist.
• Optimize NetSuite configurations for multi-entity operations.
• Communicate with owners/partners on financial performance.
• Implement process improvements and AI tools for efficiency.
