Job summary

Discount Tire & Service Centers in Anaheim, CA is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable across multiple locations. You will ensure accurate vendor and customer records, timely payments, and strong reconciliations while collaborating with the Controller and accounting team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience with AP/AR responsibilities, comfort working in a multi-entity environment, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct AP and AR responsibility.
• Experience across multiple entities or locations strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work efficiently across a high volume of retail locations.
• Solid grasp of debits/credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (GP) a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices end-to-end: coding, approvals, and timely payment.
• Prepare and execute weekly A/P check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, W-9s, and payment terms.
• Manage full-cycle A/R: invoicing, payment posting, and customer account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and follow up on past-due balances.
