Job summary

Doss Valley Enterprises LLC, a diversified ranch-based enterprise in the Texas Hill Country, seeks a General Manager to oversee four divisions: Livestock & Ranch Management, Services, Real Estate, and Agri-Tourism. The role requires leadership across retail, heavy construction projects, wildlife management, and hospitality.

On-site housing and relocation support are provided, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in a senior management role overseeing complex ranching, agricultural, or resort operations.
Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Wildlife Management, Business Admin, or related fields preferred.
Background in farming, horticulture, or agronomy is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Direct all operations across Livestock & Ranch Management, Services, Real Estate, and Agri-Tourism.
Lead livestock breeding, grazing programs, and land stewardship.
Manage the town’s General Store operations, inventory, pricing, and profitability.
Oversee property portfolios, construction/renovations, and heavy equipment maintenance.
Guide estate hunting, agri-tourism experiences, and wildlife habitat conservation.
Ensure compliance with state and federal wildlife regulations.
