Job summary

Energo, a long‑standing building services company serving the New York metro area, seeks a Customer Account Specialist to support customer service, billing, and sales activities from our Woodside, NY office. You will interact with customers, process payments, and help drive sales retention in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes multi-tasking, data analysis, and collaboration with various departments.

Qualifications

• 5-7? years of experience in customer service or inside sales within a retail energy enviroment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel data handling and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills; team oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from customers and prospects and document interactions.
• Coordinate with Managing Agent and sales teams to resolve tickets and assist collections.
• Support billing and revenue processes; analyze accounts receivable aging and contact customers for payment.
• Assist with quotes, contracting, and sales support to drive retention and new business.
• Prepare regular sales reporting and participate in process improvements across departments.
