Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Examine objects, systems or facilities to determine needed installations, services or repairs.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines and move equipment using hoists and dollies.
• Assemble equipment and align machinery to layout plans.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to set clearances.
