Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our Gypsum facility in Wheatfield, IN. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, applying mechanical and electrical expertise to maximize uptime and reliability.

The role requires reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, documenting activities in CMMS, and collaborating with operations to meet production goals. Shift work includes 12-hour rotations with some weekend coverage.

Qualifications

Two or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
Experience reading mechanical or electrical drawings/schematics.
Two-year degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Industrial Technology.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to improve reliability.
Document maintenance activities and labor hours.
Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet plant goals.
