Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Gypsum plant in Sweetwater, TX seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and electrical systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Prospective candidates should have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge and relevant maintenance experience. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with optional flexible shifts and potential overtime

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience with installation, calibration, fabrication, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Basic electrical knowledge in addition to mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and preventive maintenance findings.
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
