Job summary
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a motivated maintenance professional to join our Spartanburg, SC facility as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician on a 2-2-3 shift pattern from 7 pm to 7 am. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, drives, hydraulics, and power transmission, in a packaging environment.
You will work safely, lifting and climbing as required, with onboarding Monday-Friday 7 am-3 pm.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with 3-phase 480-volt AC motors and DC drives.
- Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair machinery including motors, controls, PLCs, drive systems, hydraulics and power transmission components.
- Utilize diagrams, schematics, manuals and specifications to fix machinery issues.
- Lubricate equipment and improve lubrication techniques.
- Perform physically demanding tasks on a rotating schedule.
- Work in elevated spaces.
