Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for the Asheboro, NC corrugated facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery, with a 2-3-2 12-hour shift schedule (5 AM–5 PM or 5 PM–5 AM).

Safety and quality are priorities as you support production aims and lubrication programs. Qualified candidates bring experience in industrial settings or an associate degree or Industrial Maintenance Certification, plus proficiency with conveyors,

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments or an associate degree or Industrial Maintenance Certification.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, hydraulic, and pneumatics systems.
Experience interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
Experience working with electrical, PLCs, AC and DC motors and drive controls.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery including motors, PLCs, drive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable performance.
Assist operators with troubleshooting to meet production, waste, and quality goals.
Use diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications to fix issues.
Lubricate equipment and identify opportunities to improve lubrication practices.
