Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Wilton, CT to perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on client facilities. The role crosses into plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general building maintenance as assigned.

This position requires broad mechanical experience and the ability to document activities in the CMMS, communicate with site leads, and ensure safe, reliable building operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five to seven years mechanical experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Three to five years maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on facility equipment following written instructions.
• Completes repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related equipment.
• Documents PM activities and work orders in the CMMS.
• Maintains building lighting and related electrical systems.
• Repairs and maintains building components and finishes as needed.
• Communicates with customer and site lead to ensure timely completion.
