Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform PMs and repairs on client facility equipment. This cross-trained role covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical and general building maintenance as assigned.

You will follow a work-flow, complete work orders, and document activities in the CMMS. Communication with the site lead and customers ensures parts are ordered and deadlines understood.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years mechanical experience including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Three to five years maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write routine instructions, memos and reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on facility equipment following written instructions.
• Completes repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other equipment.
• Documents PM activities and completes work orders in the CMMS.
• Performs general building repairs including painting of walls, doors and floors.
• Maintains lighting and electrical distribution systems and checks safety protocols.
