Job summary

North Arkansas College is seeking a SNAP E&T Coordinator to support Boone, Carroll, Madison, Newton and Searcy counties. The role requires travel among the five counties and occasional trips to Little Rock for required professional development.

Under the Director of Adult Education, you will coordinate DHS referrals, assess participant needs, develop education/career plans, provide job search assistance, and maintain organized participant files while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three years of program administration experience.
• CDF or CSP credential or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire date.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive participant referrals from DHS.
• Conduct personal interest and skills assessments.
• Serve as participant case coordinator with regular participant contact.
• Cultivate development of an individual education/career plan.
• Communicate effectively with diverse audiences in writing and speaking.
• Work one-on-one with participants to develop employment goals.
• Provide job search assistance.
• Maintain up-to-date participant files and stay highly organized.
• Identify barriers faced by participants and develop solutions.
• Complete all required reports in a timely manner.
• Liaise between North Arkansas College, Adult Education, DHS, and the community.
• Program outreach and enrollment.
