Job summary

General Informatics in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver Level II help desk support, manage Windows-based client environments, and optimize IT infrastructure across multiple client setups.

You will deploy desktops, install standard software, apply updates, and contribute to security and network initiatives while collaborating with sales and project teams. This on-site role may require occasional after-hours on-call to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years help desk or technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems.
• Experience with network troubleshooting.
• Understanding of IT security principles.
• Excellent customer service skills.
