Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to deploy and support high-value IT infrastructure projects. This client-facing role requires significant technical expertise, including strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience and will be responsible for client onboarding, system configuration, and maintaining documentation standards. The position is located in Birmingham, Alabama, with considerable travel involved.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Advanced networking knowledge including firewalls, switches, and wireless systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform new client onboardings and system configurations.
• Deploy and configure the technology stack across workstations and servers.
• Ensure all gathered data is accurately entered into documentation systems.
