Job summary

Collin College seeks a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations across its Frisco campuses. You will oversee a team of 15-20 professionals, manage a $5M-$10M budget, and coordinate multiple contracted services to keep building systems running efficiently.

The role requires strong knowledge of NFPA and building codes, plus experience directing preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and electrical systems. A Texas driver’s license and the ability to work in person are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of facilities leadership experience in a large complex facility.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to develop budgets and manage a $5M-$10M budget.
• Knowledge of NFPA, Fire Codes and building regulations.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and contracts.
• Strong leadership and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for efficient campus operation.
• Build and deliver training programs for facilities staff.
• Manage preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs.
• Recruit, orient, and supervise facilities staff.
• Develop bid specs and oversee vendor contracts.
• Monitor annual budget within approved limits.
• Coordinate campus events setups with the events team.
