Job summary

St. Mary’s Bank seeks a Float Member Service Associate II to deliver exceptional service across multiple branches.

You will greet members, conduct needs-based conversations, open deposit accounts, and originate consumer loans while achieving sales and relationship goals. As a float, you will adapt to different branch teams and workflows, maintain brand standards, and collaborate with the Float Supervisor to manage assignments and pipeline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in banking or financial services.
• Minimum two years of loan origination and closing experience, with accuracy and compliance.
• Proven track record of meeting deposit growth, lending, and product penetration goals.
• Ability to build and maintain strong member relationships.
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel between St. Mary’s Bank branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for staffing shortages across multiple branches as needed.
• Greet and assist members with inquiries and financial needs via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Support a consistent member experience by modeling St. Mary’s Bank service behaviors and adapting communication style to branch needs.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to understand member goals and recommend deposit and lending solutions.
• Open and service consumer deposit accounts within assigned authority, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Originate, process, and close consumer loans in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and deepen member relationships by identifying opportunities to add value and offering additional products.
• Perform account maintenance and servicing on deposit and loan accounts; process teller transactions accurately.
• Meet established sales, lending, and member relationship management standards through onboarding, calls, and referrals.
• Identify and resolve member issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain thorough records of member interactions, applications, approvals/denials, and transactions.
