Job summary

St. Mary\'s Bank is seeking a Member Service Associate II to provide exceptional service, build member relationships, and drive lending and deposit growth. You will conduct needs-based conversations, open deposits, and originate consumer loans while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This role emphasizes sales focus within a team environment, with opportunities to cross-sell and expand member relationships across banking products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in banking or financial services.
• Minimum two years of loan origination/closing experience with accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assist with inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct needs-based conversations and suggest deposit and lending solutions.
• Open and service consumer deposit accounts within authority and accuracy.
• Originate, process, and close consumer loans per policy and regulation.
• Maintain member relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Process teller transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Meet sales and relationship goals through onboarding and referrals.
• Record interactions, applications, approvals/denials, and transactions.
• Collaborate with team and other departments for seamless service.
