Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support three branches in Northern Illinois. The role focuses on coaching staff, driving sales strategies, and delivering exceptional member experiences while upholding brand standards.

The candidate will collaborate with the Branch Manager to optimize operations, participate in hiring, and lead community outreach efforts that reflect MSUFCU’s mission and values. A strong emphasis is placed on compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience leading teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing sales goals and strategies aligned with the Credit Union’s direction.
• Observe, coach, and document performance; provide timely feedback and conduct reviews.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding; ensure staffing levels meet branch needs.
• Collaborate to ensure superior service delivery and operational efficiency using branch data.
• Represent the Credit Union at community events and initiatives.
• Own audits and risk management; ensure compliant practices and timely follow-up.
