Job summary

MicroPort is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for multi-axis CNC machines. You will use CAD/CAM software to improve machining efficiency and tool life while aligning with quality standards.

The role requires a strong background in CNC programming, CAD/CAM systems, and experience with Vericut or similar optimization tools. Collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and Product Development Engineering is essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of CNC programming experience to include CAD/CAM tooling and processes.
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and 3D models.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Develop CNC machining processes selecting tools, speeds, feeds for standardization.
Perform program prove outs and adjust as required.
Prepare work instructions and validate machining processes with Engineering teams.
