Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedic in Arlington, TN seeks an experienced CNC Programmer. You will create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, optimize tool paths, and perform prove-outs to ensure quality and efficiency.

Duties include selecting tools, speeds, and fixtures; mentoring other programmers and machinists; maintaining CNC programming standards; and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and shop personnel to advance cost reductions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Five years of CNC programming experience
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Familiarity with Vericut is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
• Optimize tool paths and review material removal rates
• Perform CNC program prove-outs and ensure QC compliance
• Mentor other programmers and machinists
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and plant personnel
• Support cost improvements and process optimization
