Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for multi-axis CNC equipment. You will improve machining processes, review tool life, and align with management goals to ensure efficient production.

The role requires strong CAD/CAM experience, familiarity with Vericut or Mastercam, and a background in regulated manufacturing. A technical education and several years of CNC programming are preferred.

Qualifications

CNC programming experience with CAD/CAM software.
Experience in regulated production manufacturing.
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and 3D models.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Review material removal rates to optimize tool life and efficiency.
Select tooling, speeds and feeds to standardize processes.
Prove-out CNC programs on machine tools and correct as needed.
Prepare work instructions and supervise machining process validations; train operators.
