Job summary

Allata is seeking a hands-on Application Support Engineer to own and support multiple custom business applications. You will investigate production issues, deliver bug fixes and minor enhancements, and help keep apps reliable, secure, and maintainable.

The role blends production support with practical software engineering and is not limited to ticket triage. You will diagnose issues across code, databases, and cloud services, collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting and modifying custom applications in production.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core is valuable.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Git and CI/CD practices.
• Cloud experience on Azure or AWS is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot across code, databases, integrations and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of multiple applications, learning their architecture and purpose.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, queries, and tooling.
• Develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and minor enhancements under change management.
• Prioritize issues by business impact and communicate progress clearly.
• Investigate recurring incidents to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Maintain runbooks and application documentation for support teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and cloud teams to coordinate work.
• Use approved AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting while validating outputs and protecting data.
