Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead Application/Production Support professional to ensure seamless application functionality and optimal performance. You will monitor applications, respond to outages, diagnose problems, and manage change deployments across environments in a dynamic, enterprise setting.

Key responsibilities include maintaining service levels, coordinating with end user clients and vendors, and driving performance improvements through tuning and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required or desired.
• 5+ years of related experience in application support or a similar role.
• Certification in some areas is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications continuously for outages and respond to alerts; develop outage management tools and automation.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues; manage issue lifecycles and perform root-cause analysis to maintain business flow.
• Oversee service levels and SLAs; optimize performance and coordinate with delivery teams and vendors as needed.
• Manage and implement new applications or changes, including updates and patches; oversee deployments across environments.
• Tune and configure applications and infrastructure; analyze transaction flows to improve performance.
