Job summary

UEC is seeking a role focused on supporting student success in collaboration with teachers and MTSS teams. You will model PBIS practices, work with students in various settings, and assist teachers with instruction while maintaining thorough records.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a commitment to at‑risk students, and the ability to build rapport with diverse families in a school environment in Davenport, Iowa. This is an on-site instructional support role.

Qualifications

• Shows good attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and student populations.
• Experience working with at-risk students is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with culturally diverse students and families to support academic potential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers in MTSS to support student success.
• Teach, model, and support PBIS in all building situations.
• Work with students in the skills room and with all students effectively.
• Input data into student data systems and manipulate spreadsheets.
• Establish a positive and structured learning environment with classroom teachers.
• Assist and support classroom teachers with instruction and monitor student progress.
