Job summary

Davenport Community Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support MTSS and PBIS initiatives and assist teachers in delivering instruction. You will help monitor student progress and maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.

The role involves inputting data into the student data system, working with spreadsheets, and collaborating closely with instructional staff to help every student reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience with MTSS and PBIS systems or programs is preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk students is a plus.
• Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Proficient with data entry and spreadsheet manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers in MTSS to support student success.
• Teach, model, and support PBIS in all settings.
• Work with students in skills room and with all students.
• Input data into the student data system and create/maintain records.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and assist with instruction.
• Communicate daily with instructional staff about instruction and student progress.
• Build rapport with culturally diverse students and families.
