Job summary

Sage Oak Charter Schools seeks a Paraprofessional (.50 FTE/30hrs/wk) to support MTSS in remote and in-person settings. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering instruction across subjects, monitor student progress, and communicate outcomes to teachers and families to help students reach their goals.

The role requires flexibility to work with diverse learners, maintain confidentiality, and participate in virtual and on-site meetings, trainings, and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have or do one of the following: Earn a minimum of 48 college units or hold a college degree.
• One (1) year of experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides virtual instructional support and/or in-person instructional support to individual or small groups of students.
• Utilizes methods of instructional support to raise student achievement.
• Assists in preparation of lessons and instructional materials as directed.
• Maintains student records and reports progress.
• Attends virtual and in-person meetings (e.g., Summit, regional meetings, Coffee Talks).
• Serves as a substitute for online learning opportunities when needed.
