Job summary

Sage Oak Charter Schools is seeking a SPED Paraprofessional to support students in virtual and in-person settings. This 0.75 FTE role reports to the Special Education Program Specialist and supports instruction across math, ELA, science, and life skills while monitoring progress and behavior to help students reach their goals.

The position is non-exempt, 180-day calendar, and may work remotely or in-person. Fingerprint clearance and TB testing are required as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must have or do one of the following: Earn a minimum of 48 college units or hold a college degree.
• One year of experience working with school-age children in an organized setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides virtual instructional support and/or in-person instructional support to individuals or small groups in various areas including math, ELA, science, history, life skills, and behavioral needs.
• Assists in implementing practices that raise student achievement and prepares instructional materials as directed by an administrator.
• Maintains student records and attends virtual and in-person meetings as directed.
