Job summary

The State College Area School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute MTSS-Math Interventionist to deliver evidence-based mathematics intervention within the i-MTSS framework.

Responsibilities include providing small-group and individualized intervention using SpringMath and Bridges, using screening and progress data to plan instruction, collaborating with teachers, and maintaining documentation. Certification required or emergency permit; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certification required to teach elementary mathematics in PA or ability to obtain emergency permit.
• Experience in MTSS or similar multi-tiered support framework preferred.
• Ability to use data to drive instruction and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and/or individualized mathematics intervention using district resources.
• Use screening and progress-monitoring data to plan instruction and monitor student growth.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with Tier 1 instruction.
• Maintain required student documentation and MTSS meetings participation.
• Communicate with teachers and families regarding student progress.
