Job summary

The Washoe County School District is seeking an MTSS Specialist to lead district-wide MTSS initiatives, including PBIS, RP and SEL, across PreK-12 sites. You will coach, facilitate PD, and support equitable, data-driven systems to improve student outcomes.

Strong candidates will hold a Master’s in Education or related field, have five years MTSS/leadership experience, a Nevada educator license or eligibility, and qualification into the WCSD Teacher Leadership Pool.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Administration, Counseling, School Psychology, Special or General Education or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in MTSS implementation and/or school leadership.
• Validity of Nevada educator license or ability to obtain; Teacher Leadership Pool qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination and implementation of MTSS across PreK-12.
• Provide coaching, professional development, and data-driven planning for MTSS, PBIS, RP and SEL.
• Collaborate with district/site leaders and liaise with departments and communities.
