Job summary

Community Health Centers in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician MTM to support pharmacists and improve population-based medication outcomes across CHC sites. Under the Pharmacist/MTM Manager, you will assist with medication reconciliation, patient education, and developing care plans, while ensuring accurate data entry and prescriptions processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Within 180 days of hire, certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) or be obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist/MTM Manager with medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Enter patient information, insurance data, and prescriptions in pharmacy software.
• Process and submit insurance claims; follow up on rejections.
• Maintain drug inventory and support cost-effective therapies.
• Assist with MTM student scheduling, training, and coverage as needed.
• Provide medication therapy management summaries to patients and providers.
