Job summary

Community Health Centers in Florida is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support multiple Orange and Lake County locations. The role travels as needed with mileage and toll reimbursement provided. You will assist the pharmacist with prescriptions, billing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities include data entry, insurance submissions, cash handling, and coordinating with third-party payers. A Florida pharmacy technician license and driver’s license are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Certified as a Pharmacy Technician by PTCB or NHA preferred.
• Current Florida Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in filling prescriptions and maintaining inventory.
• Enters patient and insurance information into the pharmacy software.
• Submits insurance claims and follows up on rejections.
• Counts, measures, and labels medications accurately.
• Handles billing and collects payments from patients and third parties.
• Travels to CHC locations as needed.
