Job summary

University Corporation at Monterey Bay is seeking an Outreach, Recruitment, and Internship Program Specialist on the CSUMB campus in Seaside, CA. A Master of Social Work degree (CSWE-accredited) or a related bachelor’s degree with experience is required.

The role focuses on recruiting and coordinating practicum sites, outreach activities, and career fairs, with grant-funded status ending June 30, 2027. The team emphasizes diversity, collaboration, and service orientation.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, screening, developing, evaluating, and retaining field practicum sites and field instructors at generalist and advanced sites.
• Maintain the field practicum directory and field database with agency information and documentation compliance.
• Assist with developing, scheduling, planning, and supporting field practicum education projects and activities.
• Assist coordinating and facilitating outreach activities reaching a diverse and underrepresented rural community.
• Assist developing and facilitating informational sessions in local communities, professional conferences, and public or nonprofit agencies.
• Participate in staff career fairs providing career education information to attendees and county employees.
